Euro 2012

Euro 2012 will be the 14th UEFA European Football Championship. The tournament will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine at 8 June until 1 July 2012. The joint Ukraine and Poland bid was chosen after they win a vote of the UEFA Executive Committee. This bid becoming the third successful joint bid for European Football Championship after Belgium-Netherlands (2000) and Austria-Switzerland (2008).

Like past Euro competition's format, Euro 2012 features 16 nations. But Euro 2012 maybe the last European Championship that features sixteen nations, Euro 2016 will features 24 nations. The 16 finalist who will participate in the final tournament will divided into four group, each group had four nations.

Euro 2012 will use 4 venues at Poland, and 4 venues at Ukraine. These 8 venues will used for holding 31 matches. For leading that, UEFA has named the 12 referees, four officials, and many more assistant referees.
