Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland. Warsaw in Polish language is Warszawa which means "belonging to Warsz" a folk etymology about mermaid who lived in the Vistula River that tempt a fisherman. Motto of "invincible" indicates the city's ability to get up after a war disaster. Warsaw is like a monument to the history of human warfare in Europe in the century XIX and XX. Nowadays, Warsaw is the 9th largest cities of the European Union.

Warsaw is famous for his art (theater, concerts, music, architecture, etc.). Famous music composer, Frederick Chopin once lived here. The presence of Chopin who had lived in Warsaw, greatly impressed the public. In the Lazienki Park, there is a statue of Chopin and in Warsaw National Philharmonic, the Frederik Chopin International Piano competition is held annually.

One of the famous tourist destination in the Warsaw is Lazienki Park. Lazienki Park is the largest park in Warsaw, Poland, occupying 76 hectares of the city center and was designed in the 17th century by Tylman van Gameren, in the baroque style. This park complex is a popular place to experience the old Warsaw. You can also enjoy the beautiful gardens, canals, and ponds here. The park is also home to the Chopin Statue, a monument to Frederic Chopin, which erected in 1926 and has become one of Warsaw's iconic images.

One of the most famous people born in Warsaw was Maria Sklodowska-Curie. Marie Curie who's has awarded two nobels because of her scientific discovery of radiation. Marie Curie created the term "radioactive" and award for his invention, a unit of measurement in the disciplines of physics are named by Curie. One of the most famous Marie Curie's quote is "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less."
