Euro 1992 held in Sweden right at the time when European politic’s had many changes. West Germany and East Germany become one and declare as a Germany Republic. In Euro 1992, UEFA must involved in politic issue in Yugoslavia case. Yugoslavia got international sanctions by United Nations. Because of that, UEFA disqualified Yugoslavia even they can go through final stage. Denmark which is the third rank in qualification stage, had their chance to replace Yugoslavia and can play at final stage.
In this Euro, a big history was written. Instead of Denmark was underestimated, they can defeat the biggest team Germany with 2-0 winning score. Denmark win through Kim Vilfort and John Jensen goal. Since then, Denmark was called by "Dynamite Team".
