Won every Euro 2012 qualification match makes Germany has the best match record than any other team. Germany were the first to book their place in Euro 2012. Although there were many changes between the squad that featured in the qualification match, but one thing was consistent: Germany were dominant. Euro 2012 is their 11th appearances including when they as West Germany. They seeded in Group B, were drawn with Netherlands, Denmark and Portugal. Germany is the most successful national team in the history of the European Championships with 3 trophies in 1972, 1980, and 1996. Germany National Football Team has a nickname "Die Mannschaft" (The Team).

German Team Manager

Germany National Football Team manager is Joachim Low who's born in Schonau, West Germany at February 3, 1960 (age 52). Since taking over from Jurgen Klinsmann in 2006, the former assistant national team coach has enjoyed an immensely successful run, but as of yet no trophies. Low replaces Jurgen Klinsmann in 2006, previously Low became Klinsmann assistant since 2004. Since 2006, German best achievement with Low are 2nd place in UEFA Euro 2008 and 3rd place in 2010 FIFA World Cup. Germany was established as a fast team with an attractive attacking capabilities, relying on determination and unyielding spirit of the German style. Low even has the best winning percentage in the history of the German national team coach with 52 wins from 75 matches.

German Team Captain

Philipp Lahm born in Munich, West Germany at November 11, 1983 (age 28). Lahm plays for and captains both Bayern Munich and the Germany national football team. With Bayern Munich, Low has won 4 Bundesliga Leagues, 4 DFB-Pokal cups, and a DFB-Ligapokal. In Germany national team, lahm has made 85 appearances and 4 goals. Lahm took over captain's armband from Michael Ballack in 2010 under some controversy. Answer the controversy, Lahm showed a remarkable performance and a good model to other players in the field by his attitude. This proves that the Low's decision to give Low the captain's armband is right on.

Mesut Ozil born in Gelsenkirchen, West Germany, at October 15, 1988 (age 23). He is German National Football Team star player and recently playing at Real Madrid. With Real Madrid, Ozil ever won a Copa del Rey, and a DFB-Pokal with Werder Bremen. Ozil has 30 caps and 8 goals for his country. Ozil playing style has added creativity in Germany play model. Consistency of top level performance shown by Ozil made him alwasy be Low's regular squad.

German Team Rising Star

Mario Gotze born in Memmingen, Germany, at June 3, 1992 (age 19). He is German National Football Team rising star player and part of Bundesliga League-winning with Borussia Dortmund in 2011. Gotze has 12 caps and 2 goals for his country. Gotze is a player with immense natural technique, sharp mind for the game and a quick turn of pace. With his ability to play left, right, and centre, he will surely have his chances, even if only as a substitute.
