Stuart Pearce who's born in Hammersmith, England at April 24, 1962 (age 49) previously is the coach for the Great Britain Olympic football team. Pearce best achievement as a manager when he won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship as Runner up in 2009. About who will handle England as team manager, will be announced by FA before the Euro 2012 take place in Poland and Ukraine.
Just as their team manager, England also do not have a captain yet. The captain armband which previously held by John Terry, has been revoked by the FA for the racist case that happened. Several candidates have been mentioned will receive the captain's armband, among others, Steven Gerard and Joe Hart.

With England, Rooney has made 73 appearances and 28 goals. Although always relied upon to score goals, Rooney still has a bad temper. Lattermost, he was given a red card after tackling Miodrag Dzudovic from behind when England against Montenegro in Euro 2012 qualification. As a result Rooney handed a three-match ban in Poland and Ukraine.
