In 1972 he turned to coaching, becoming most successful club coach in the history of Serie A Italian League. He has won 6 Italian League, 2 Italian Cups, an European Cup, an UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, two UEFA Cups, an European Super Cup and an Intercontinental Cup with Juventus, an Italian League and an UEFA Cup with Internazionale Milan, a German League, a German Cup, and a German League Cup with Bayern Munich, a Portuguese League with Benfica, and an Austrian League with Red Bull Salzburg. Trapattoni who prefer to apply a holding pattern, an aggressive midfielder, and the speed of the wing players seems to get less of praise for his style from Ireland football lovers. Robert David "Robbie" Keane born in Dublin, Ireland, at July 8, 1980 (age 31). He is The Ireland National Football Team captain. Despite of his brilliant play in International carrier, Keane's club career is disappointing. Keane has made 114 appearances and 53 goals with The Ireland National Football Team. Keane did not have many opportunities in international tournaments, but the Irish certainly will always miss him when he was retired.

Seamus John James "Shay" Given born in Lifford, County Donegal, Ireland, at April 20, 1976 (age 35). He is Ireland National Football Team star player. Playing as goalkeeper, Given had some achievement in club career. Given has won a FA Cup with Manchester City, a UEFA Intertoto Cup and a FA Cup with Newcastle United. Shay Given has only conceded twice in his last seven competitive internationals. Although showing few signs of slowing down, Shay Given which has already made 120 appearances is one of the finest of his generation.

James McCarthy born in Glasgow, Scotland, at November 12, 1990 (age 21). Although born in Scotland, McCarthy made his competitive debut for the Republic of Ireland on 26 March 2011 in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier against Macedonian national team. Although ever withdraw due to injury, McCarthy is the country's most promising talent with combination of neat passing, positional awareness and an increased sense of responsibility.
