The Municipal Stadium or Stadion Miejski in Polish was originally built between 1968 and 1980. Inaugural concert opened with a British musician, Sting, who is promoting his new album titled Symphonicities. This stadium is like the white balloon shaped house. The roof can be closed and opened. It took 12 years to complete construction of this stadium. However, plans swimming pool and gymnasium had not been realized. On this stadium Lech Poznan began its "golden age". In the eighties and nineties years of the twentieth century, Lech won six league titles, five Polish Cups and four Polish SuperCup.
