Lviv or in German: Lemberg; is a city in western Ukraine. The city is regarded as one of the main cultural centres of today's Ukraine. Since its founding in 1256, Lviv power switch several times. Market Place was rebuilt after a fire in the 16th century, there were trenches and four corner stone fountain decorated with ornate statues of Greek gods. This place is one of the most romantic place in Lviv (some people use it to propose their lover). Presented a spectacular view of the spiers of city hall. One of the most famous people born in Lviv is Oleh Romanovych Luzhny or famous with Oleg Luzhny. He is a retired Ukrainian football defender, currently assistant manager of FC Dynamo Kyiv. He has the most matches for Ukraine as a captain with a record 39 times. In his club career, Luzhny has won four Ukrainian Cups, 7 Ukrainian Premier Leagues, a USSR Premier League and a USSR Cup with Dynamo Kyiv, a FA Premier League, two FA Cups, and a Community Shield Cups with Arsenal FC. In December 2000 he was voted into the Ukrainian "Team of the Century" according to a poll by The Ukrainsky Futbol weekly. Luzhny received the fourth biggest number of votes, behind only to Oleg Blokhin, Andriy Shevchenko and Anatoly Demyanenko.
