Spain come in Euro 2012 with their status as Euro 2008 champions. They are favorite winning team because of their 100 percent record in Euro 2012 qualification, 2006 FIFA World Cup champions, and their first FIFA's national team rank. Spain National Football Team has a nickname La Furia Roja ("The Red Fury"). Euro 2012 are La Furia Roja's 9th appearance, Spain were placed in Group C along with Italy, Croatia and Republic of Ireland. If in Euro 2012 Spain can become champion again, they will attempt to become the first country to successfully defend its European crown.

Spain National Football Team manager is Vicente del Bosque who's born in December 23, 1950 (age 61) in Salamanca, Spain. He is replaces Luis Aragones who had led Spain to European success in Euro 2008, Del Bosque went on to manage the national team to the conquest of their first-ever World Cup in 2010. He started his career as a defensive midfielder and ever played in Castilla CF, Cordoba, Castellon, and Real Madrid. He won five league titles and four Copa del Rey titles with Real Madrid. In 1987 he turned to coaching, becoming the manager of Real Madrid and Besiktas. He has won two UEFA Champions League titles, two domestic La Liga titles, a Spanish Supercup, a UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup with Real Madrid.

Iker Casillas born in Mostoles, Madrid, Spain at May 20, 1981 (age 30). He is part of the Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010 winning team. Casillas being his country's most capped player with 127 appearances. Since 2008, he was given the captain's armband and became the first goalkeeper to lift the European Championship trophy as captain. Casillas was chosen to be FIFA/FIFPro World's Best Goalkeeper four times in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Xavier Hernandez i Creus born in Terrassa, Spain, at January 25, 1980 (age 32). He is Spain's National Football Team star player and playing as a midfielder. Xavi has extraordinary vision, passing range, ball control, and an uncanny ability to find gaps to thread passes through the tightest of defenses. Xavi is a phenomenal player at club level (FC Barcelona) with his achievement with Spanish League 6 times, Spanish Cup, Spanish Supercup 5 times, UEFA Champions League 3 times, UEFA Super Cup 2 times, and FIFA Club World Cup 2 times. These collection of cup was all completed with Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010 cup.

Thiago Alcantara born in San Pietro Vernotico, Italy at April 11, 1991 (age 20). Thiago started his international career with Spain's Under-17 team in the 2008. With Thiago, Spain can became the UEFA European Under-17 Football Champions. With Spain's senior team, Thiago has already make 3 appearances. If Vicente del Bosque give him chance to playing in Euro 2012, he can show his ability in his first ever international tournament for the senior team.
