After poor performances in World Cup 2010, France didn't qualify for Euro 2012 in easy way. Lose when facing Belarus in Stade de France is just one example how hard is it. Fortunately, France were seeded in quite easy qualifying group, with 6 won and 3 draws could make France go to Poland and Ukraine. Euro 2012 is their 8th appearances, and France have won this cup two times in 1984 when France as Euro host and in 2000. They seeded in Group D, were drawn with Ukraine, Sweden, and England. France National Football Team has a nickname Les Bleus (The Blues) and have home ground at Stade de France.

France National Football Team manager is Laurent Robert Blanc who's born in Ales, France at November 19, 1965 (age 46). He is replaces Raymond Domenech in July 2010 after a dreadful World Cup 2010 campaign that had left the squad fractured. Blanc started his career as a sweeper and part of the World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000 winning team. Besides World Cup and Euro Cup, in club career Blanc has won a Coupe de France with Montpellier, French Division 1 and a Coupe de France with Auxerre, a Supercopa de EspaƱa, a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and a Copa del Rey with Barcelona, and a England Premier League with Manchester United. Even though he only has the experience to coach for two years with Bordeaux, Blanc has won a Ligue 1, a Coupe de la Ligue, and two Trophee des Champions.

Hugo Lloris born in Nice, France at December 26, 1986 (age 25). Although, France didn't have any official captain for Euro 2012 but at present it’s Hugo Lloris who leads the queue to grab this honour. Currently playing in Lyon as a goalkeeper, Lloris has awarded Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year two times. Since 2008, Lloris has made 30 appearances with France.

Franck Ribery born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, at April 7, 1983 (age 28). He is Poland's National Football Team star player today and part of World Cup 2006 team when France lose in final match against Italy. Although Ribery hasn't reaching his peak yet because of his injury, Blanc still believe that Ribery is a player who can turn a game in an instant. In club, Ribery has won a Turkish Cup with Galatasaray, a UEFA Intertoto Cup with Marseille, two Bundesliga cups, two DFB-Pokal, and a DFB-Ligapokal with Bayern Munich. For his country, Ribery has made 56 appearances and 7 goals.

Yann M'Vila born in Amiens, France, at June 29, 1990 (age 21). M'Vila, besides has a good defensive ability, he also able to provide an offensive threat when getting the ball at his feet, despite scoring a goal isn't his major task. With his club Rennes, M'Vila has won a Coupe Gambardella. Playing for France's senior team since 2010, M'Vila has made 17 appearances and 1 goal.
