Wroclaw's Map |
Wroclaw which is the largest city in southwestern Poland will be the venue (Municipal Stadium) and the base camps city for Czech Republic's Football Team during the UEFA Euro 2012. The Monopol Hotel was built in 1892. At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, the building of the Monopol Hotel and the former department store on the corner of Swidnicka and Modrzejewskiej streets were subject to major modernisations. All historic elements were renovated and the interiors were made in a modern style following an original design. The premises on the ground floor and in the basement of the former trading part were restored to their original function with a number of exclusive shops. The hotel offers 107 rooms and 14 suites of a high standard and unique decor. The football players who will stay at the hotel during the Tournament will have: two restaurants and bars, 5 conference rooms, a club room and a cafe, two spacious terraces, a Wellness & Spa club and a luxurious shopping arcade at their disposal.
