Gdansk or in German languange called Danzig is a port city and one of the old town in Poland. As a port city, Gdansk is also full of nuance. Many ancient buildings, gardens, rivers and charming nature. During the finals Germany will stay in Gdansk at the Dwor Oliwski Hotel. This decision was announced on the occasion of a friendly match between the national teams of Poland and Germany. 70 air-conditioned rooms, a 17th century wine cellar, modern conference centre and SPA facilities, including a swimming pool, dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, cardio studio, "sunny beach" and Thalgo beauty salon will be at the disposal of the Germen team. The football pitch of the Gdansk Sports and Recreation Centre, located at 29 Traugutta Street, 9 km from the hotel, where the footballers of Lechia Gdansk used to train and play league matches before they moved to the PGE Arena Gdansk, was selected as the German team base training site.
