Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Krakow has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and is one of Poland's most important economic hubs. It was the capital of Poland from 1038 to 1596. It is now the capital of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The five-star Sheraton Hotel in the heart of Krakow, which is selected by the Dutch football players is located on a bend of the Vistula River. It is only 10 minutes away by foot from Market Square, the climatic historic district of Kazimierz and the city’s main attractions. The hotel has 232 rooms and 11 suites. The hotel houses restaurants, a lobby bar combined with a coffee shop and a pub. The football players staying here during the Tournament will be able to relax at the fitness club provided with a swimming pool, gym, massage parlours and two saunas.
